What to expect at your audition
Our auditions are designed to be friendly, supportive and low-pressure. On arrival, you’ll meet the panel for an informal chat with representatives from R-Ten and The Talentz, before having your headshots taken. You’ll then be invited to perform a short monologue, song or dance routine, giving us the opportunity to see your strengths, personality and potential in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Partnered with R-Ten Agency, The Talentz agency prepares, coaches and supports our students aged between 4 and 21 years, who are interested in taking the first steps into a professional performing arts career. We give you the opportunity to be professionally represented in the performing arts industry, by putting you forward for professional roles to advertising agencies, film companies and theatre and music productions.
We have placed many of our students in top television and internet adverts, feature films, theatre productions and advertising shoots, launching the first steps into their professional careers.
We open our books once each term, holding auditions in the Tunbridge Wells area, with rolling contracts, subject to a minimal monthly subscription cost of £10 per student (in addition to Spotlight’s annual £136.50 subscription fee). There are no hidden charges, and we even provide a headshot at no additional cost when students join our books.Â
The Talentz Agency helps talented students by coaching and preparing them for the first steps towards a professional career in the music, television and film industry. The Talentz Agency works in partnership with R-Ten Agency, a Spotlight-registered agency, who work with a variety of casting directors, production companies and direct clients to provide children and young people for TV campaigns, stills shoots, feature films and theatre productions.
We will submit you for all opportunities that you fit the brief for, but it must always be understood that no matter how hard we try there is no guarantee of work – that’s just the nature of the business!Â
