Musical Theatre Classes in Kent for 14 – 21 year olds

Who are they for?

Our Seniorz Musical Theatre classes are open to all young performers aged 14 to 21, regardless of previous experience, training or ability. All we ask is that you arrive ready to challenge yourself, work hard and fully commit to acting, dancing and singing each week.

Seniorz weekly classes are designed to refine and elevate performance skills in a focused, supportive environment, with regular performance opportunities throughout the year. Working in dedicated groups, students explore diverse and challenging material while developing as confident, disciplined and versatile triple-threat performers.

We provide our Seniorz with a strong platform for further training, auditions and future careers, nurturing advanced skills in performance technique, communication, character development and self-confidence — skills that benefit them both on stage and beyond.

What do we do? Dance Act Sing Perform

Seniorz singing sessions focus on developing strong, healthy vocal technique alongside confident performance skills. Students work on breath control, vocal placement, harmonies and expanding their vocal range, tackling more challenging repertoire from contemporary and classic musical theatre.

We place strong emphasis on storytelling through song — connecting emotionally to lyrics, making clear character choices and delivering performances with authenticity and control.

Students regularly work on solo material, ensemble numbers and harmony work, building confidence for auditions, showcases and future training opportunities.

Our Seniorz dance training challenges students to refine technique, strength and performance quality across a wide range of musical theatre styles. Classes include structured warm-ups, conditioning and learning technical skills to develop flexibility, stamina and precision.

Students explore styles such as jazz, commercial, contemporary, lyrical and classic musical theatre choreography, with a focus on storytelling through movement. We work on musicality, dynamics and performance presence, encouraging performers to move with intention and confidence.

As students progress, they are pushed to perform more complex choreography, develop quick pick-up skills and work with the discipline expected in rehearsal and audition environments, all whilst having lots of fun!

Seniorz acting classes are designed to deepen character development and performance technique. Through script work, devising, improvisation and text analysis, students explore more complex themes and characters.

We focus on emotional truth, stage presence and understanding subtext, helping performers make bold, informed choices in their work. Students develop audition technique, monologues and duologues, as well as ensemble storytelling skills.

Our aim is to create thoughtful, confident actors who are able to approach material with maturity, creativity and commitment.
